Our International Coach Federation (ICF) approved Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) starts with our 77-hour Core Essentials Program.

Coach U’s in-person Core Essentials FastTrack Program™ (CEFTP) offers core competency courses in various disciplines of coaching to develop foundational coaching skills. This is a great program for visual learners or people who want to quickly gain foundational coaching skills either to start a coaching practice or to use in your current profession.

Briefly, what is the Core Essentials FastTrack Program™ (CEFTP)?

The in-person Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP) is our newest program, which offers training in foundational coaching skills inside of one month. This program forms the foundational base of our ICF accredited program. This program, enhanced with invaluable practice and project labs, has been carefully designed to teach you core coaching skills, deepen your personal foundation and teach practical practice development skills as efficiently and conveniently as possible.

Where will I start?

The in-person Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP) offers foundational and intermediate courses to develop strong core coaching skills. These skills are essential for coaches providing individual and/or organisational coaching services.

In under six weeks, (6 day in-person and 9 hours teleclass) people in the Core Essentials Fast Track Program will:

  • Complete fundamental core courses in coach training.
  • Be able to blend the Coach U approach with other training programs.
  • Develop coaching skills to use in other professions.
  • Move further on the path of becoming well-trained and masterful credentialed coaches.

After you have completed the courses above there will be additional requirements to complete within 6 months (self-tests, required client coaching hours, etc) so that you can apply for your Core Essential Graduate (CEG) designation.  Even though you have 6 months to complete this program some people complete it in less than 2 months.

NOTE: If you desire, you may re-take any of the Fast Track modules in the regular teleclass-based CEP program for up to 6 months.  The Core Essentials Fast Track Program is truly the best of both worlds – face-to-face immersion on the front end with weekly/special contact/learning for implementation and fine-tuning for six months. How is the program delivered and what’s included?

Coach U’s Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP)  is delivered utilising the most advanced effective methods available.

The majority of this program is delivered in-person. Here are the major components of our flagship program:

  1. Participate in the 1-hour New Student Orientation Teleclass before the face-to-face event
  2. Attend the 6-day in-person event from 8:30am to 6:00pm daily (with a good deal of homework in the evenings)
  3. Complete the scheduled 4-week Private Establishing Yourself as a Coach Teleclass (one 2-hour teleclass per consecutive week)

Faculty

The Core Essentials Fast Track Programs will be delivered by Senior Coaches, CoachInc.com Advanced Program Graduates and ICF-credentialed coaches at the PCC or MCC levels.  We prefer to have facilitators who with a successful track record in coaching and a successful track record in the teleclass-leading environment.  It is more important to us that this training program is facilitated by masterful coaches who know something about training rather than masterful trainers who know something about coaching. We want you to learn from experienced masterful coaches who are also good trainers.

What should I expect in the Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP)?

The in-person Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP) offers coach specific training in under six weeks. This is the only program of its kind to provide you with ICF-accredited coach training hours!  This program has a limited number of participants.

Here’s what to expect:

Before the Live Session
The Fast Track New Coach Orientation course is delivered via TeleClass. You can phone from home or from your office. A one-hour New Student Orientation TeleClass usually scheduled one week prior to commencing the in-person portion of the program.

The Live Session 
It’s best to schedule flights out on Sunday morning or flights after 7.30pm on Saturday evening.
The program completes at 5pm on Saturday and you will need to factor in travel time to and check-in time/requirements at the airport.

On Friday evening, students are expected to set aside the evening for a group project.

The Core Modules, Personal Foundation course, Project and Practice Labs will be delivered in person.

At the live training, you will receive all text books required:

  • The Coach U Personal and Corporate Coach Training handbook – approx 400 pages
  • The Coach U Personal Development Workbook and Guide – approx 210 pages
  • Coach U’s Essential Coaching Tools: Your complete Practice Resources – forms, programs & Coach/Coachee information- approx 500 pages
  • CD (PDF’s and changeable word docs)

Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP) core modules

Students must successfully complete the following courses and other requirements to graduate from the Core Essentials Programs. Additional requirements will be provided upon enrolment that are necessary to receive the designation of “Certified Core Essentials Graduate.”

Important:
There are no make-up sessions. You must attend all of the sessions to receive credit and to complete. (total 77 hours)

After the Live Session
The Private Establishing Yourself Program is delivered via TeleClass. A 4-week TeleClass usually begins one week after the face-to-face session has ended, meeting for 2 hours each week.

After the Live Training: AT NO EXTRA COST

After the live training, you will take the online self-tests for the Core Modules. These are required for program graduation.

Once you complete the self-tests and required client coaching hours, you may apply for graduation. If you desire, you will have 6 months from the date of the first live session to take any/all Core Essentials teleclasses – this program is truly the best of both worlds.

You can access even more resources and information, our special interest groups and repeat the modules via teleclass, at your convenience for a period, at no extra cost. To ensure you have full knowledge of teleclasses, you will need to complete the regular Core Essentials New Coach Orientation teleclass after completing your in-person training, if you wish to participate in the complimentary teleclasses. (no charge)

Although we believe you will learn a great deal during the live training, we understand that you may wish to deepen your learning or refresh your memories. If you are interested in retaking the core modules, you may begin to register for teleclasses a week after the face-to-face training. You will have 6 months from the date of the last teleclass of your Fast Track program to take any/all Core Essentials TeleClasses.

Each week, you can phone into an interactive conference call with other students from around the world, led by a Coach U Trainer who also is a full-time coach and who shares their wisdom and experience with you, reducing your learning curve and answering questions that every coach has.

Each teleclass consists of 4 or 8 55-minute sessions (one each week) so you have time to both integrate and practice what you learn, thus ensuring that these skills, concepts and phrasing are permanently a part of your coaching tool box.

When taking teleclasses, you can expect email messages with tips and fieldwork from class leaders and classmates in between weekly teleclass sessions. You can also expect to collaborate with a community of like-minded people all developing their coaching skills just like you, from all over the world.

All you’ll need to participate in teleclasses, is a telephone, ability to read/print materials and internet access.

Are CoachInc.com (Coach U & Corporate Coach U) programs accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF)?

By completing the Core Essentials fast track program, participants have the training hour requirements to apply for the Associated Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coach Federation. For more information visit www.coachfederation.org

Coach U and Corporate Coach U’s advanced certifications are fully accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). This enables the certified graduates of our advanced programs to apply for ICF certification through the accredited coach training program (ACTP) track, which is preferred by most coaches.

Achieving the Coach U Certified Graduate (CUCG) designation or Corporate Coach U’s Corporate Coach U Certified Graduate (CCUCG) designation will allow you to apply for ICF certification through the ICF accredited schools track (ACTP track). Most professional coaches strive to achieve the ICF’s Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Master Certified Coach (MCC) designations.

Reference Books

There are 3 reference books required for this training program. There are 2 options for the purchase of these reference books.

Option 1 – You may add the three required textbooks on to your tuition for $275 AUD, have us ship the books directly to the event, with the rest of our supplies, for you to pick up after 6pm the night before Day 1 (most people start reading the books after Day 1). You will need to bring them home in your luggage after the event.

Option 2 – You may purchase the three textbooks, with shipping to your home/office, read them (if you have time), and then bring them to/from the face-to-face event. Currently, they cost approximately $300AUD before shipping. Instructions for purchasing the textbooks on your own will be sent upon enrolment.
