This course covers organizational development from a coaching perspective, in that coaches develop organizations one person, team or group at a time.  You will explore the nature of organizational development and how you can influences the organization’s ability to change, flex and lighten itself thereby strengthening the organization.

A-525 Coaching The Executive – Situational Coaching Forum

This module will address in detail, some of the common traits and issues that an executive faces, and how coaching can work effectively with those in the situation of being a CEO/Executive. This course will include specifically directed coaching interactions.  Participants will explore various coaching situations and engage in coaching that will demonstration work with this client type. Focus is on the ability and skill development that it takes to coach the client who is in this role.

A-530 Assessments for Coaching

This course is targeted to the business or personal coach who works with executives, entrepreneurs, managers, project teams and individuals. Whether a corporate, business, or personal coach, you will discover concepts and applications for different types of assessments. In this course, the focus will be on providing an overview of assessments. And, you will be exposed to “the coach approach” to using assessments with your clients. Some of the assessments cover areas such as behaviors, thinking styles, career development and transition, emotional intelligence and the 360 degree feedback process.

A-611 Small Business Success


The small business owner hires a coach to accelerate the growth and profitability of the company. You will learn numerous business principles, which will help the small business owner to succeed. You will also learn the keys to small business success and how to introduce these in a coaching interaction. Given that many owners of small businesses have the characteristics and habits of entrepreneurs, beneficial coaching strategies related to these dynamic personalities will be explored.

A-612 Business Turnarounds


This course will assist you in developing the ability to quickly size up a situation, discern the real problem sources, prioritize the work to be done, coach your client to immediate action and lay the groundwork for a profitable company. You will learn how to use the ‘edge’ in coaching interactions, where there may be resistance to taking the sometimes radical, drastic or unusual actions that are required for a quick turnaround.

Life planning is the process by which a person increases the personal influence they have in their own life to live a life by design, instead of a life by default.  This course particularly focuses on how to structure a comprehensive coaching approach in four major areas; values and goals, mission, life map and Coach U’s Clean Sweep program.

A-711 Spiritual Path 
Spirituality is the notion that we are all one, connected somehow with every other human being, yet distinct in our own gifts, views, direction and choices.  This course supports the view that everybody has their own unique version of spirituality and has the ability to develop their spirituality by conscious effort.  Other areas of focus are on the idea that there are universal laws and what they are, the idea of surrender and the experience of bliss and fulfillment.

Financial independence is the place you reach in life where you have more than enough money to live on now, and for the rest of your life. A situation, where your choices and goals are not influenced by the making of money.  This course helps you understand financial independence as a real possibility, and that there are as many ways to attain financial independence as there are people to dream them up.  You will learn how to move through resistance to being financially independent and to lay the foundation to make the shifts and changes necessary to have financial independence be more than just a conversation.

An introduction to the higher-end, higher quality of day to day living that is possible for people. A-831 Practice Management – External Corporate/Business Practice


Although each external coach is responsible for unique issues within his or her practice, all coaches share general business concerns that are critical to a successful practice. This course addresses issues in practice management including how to start, build, and operate a professional coaching practice.

A-835 Strong Start – Business Development Lab


This is a practice development course. It is designed to support new coaches in the establishment of their coaching practice. This practice lab is about taking action to build your business. This course takes off where CE-320, Establishing Yourself As A Coach, and CE-325, Coaching Service Packet Project Lab finishes. This is a fully participatory course geared for individual who are ready to take action. You will establish practice development goals at the beginning of the course and will be held accountable for taking action to accomplish those objectives. Additionally you will be assigned to work on and present a class project around practice development. Since this is an action oriented course, you should not take until you are ready to build your business and have the space to take the action. Active participation is a requirement.

A-840 Integrating/Marketing Group Coaching


Group coaching can provide a means by which you can add diversity to your coaching product offerings.  In this course you will determine the value of group coaching to your particular client market and learn what it would take to fully integrate group coaching into an existing coaching practice.  This course further provides an overview of the methods most successfully used to market group coaching.

A-935 Group Coaching Practicum

An entirely experiential course that is focused on each individual’s ability and skill development coaching in specifically directed group coaching interactions as the coach running the group, not a peer coach. Each participant will coach and receive feedback on their current demonstration of ability from the faculty, their peers and a self-evaluation.  The feedback offered to the participant will be used to guide their further training and development. To receive credit for the course, each participant must coach, be coached and turn in feedback forms on all observed coaching sessions. Coach-the-coach occurs by faculty.
