When the world can appear to be built on shifting ground, we all need a strong, solid personal foundation on which to build our life.

Living a meaningful life is usually grounded by a strong foundation which gives people the confidance to look up at the stars, instead of down at their feet.

Having a strong personal foundation allows you to fully use your skills and resources. Instead of constantly worrying about the fundamentals of their life, they are free to focus on working toward their goals.

The process of building a personal foundation also teaches you how to eliminate and prevent many common problems that are usually expected in life.

At Coach U and Corporate Coach U we believe that there are 25 steps to achieving a strong personal foundation.

25 Steps to a Strong Personal Foundation

Decide that you want a strong personal foundation.

A strong foundation is a choice. Want it.

Zap the tolerations.

Whatever you are putting up with eats away at your personal foundation.

Simplify your life dramatically.

Resolve unfinished business.

Identify and focus on your 10 daily habits.

Restore your integrity wherever it’s broken.

Get your needs met. You can.

Handle the money. Period.

Treat your body like the temple it is.

Extend your boundaries until you are fully respected.

Raise your standards until you feel terrific.

Create reserves in all areas of your life.

Perfect the present, especially if it’s not.

Strengthen your family. Heal if necessary.

Extend your community. Start attracting instead of striving.

Select and reach your preferred living states.

Be well protected.

Choose your work so that you can be all of yourself.

Reorient your life around your values.

Become a problem-free zone. Improve your attitude.

Invest in your life.

Thank the people who’ve made your life as rich as it is.

Choose your postfoundation steps.

CoachInc.com believes so strongly of the importance of a strong personal foundation that it is built into our coaching programs as part of the personal development of the coach.

Even if you are not a coach or a Coach U trained coach you can still work on your personal foundation but taking our 8-week Building Your Personal Foundation program or working with a Coach U trained coach.

These Guiding Principals are the foundation for human interaction and individual growth and are a result of working with over 7000 students and coaches.

When we become consciously aware of these principles which guide everyday life, we can integrate them and act on them. People see amazing differences in the way others react and interact with them.

Please read them, use them and share them.

People have something in common

Coach U : We return to our common connections by loving, honoring ande valuing ourselves and others.

Corporate Coach U : People are drawn together in companies through a compelling mission and shared values.

People are inquisitive

Coach U : Wonder, curiosity and inquiry are the source of all learning.

Corporate Coach U : Organisations that encourage curiosity accelerate learning and creativity.

People contribute

Coach U : Contribution based on purpose generates true fulfilment.

Corporate Coach U : When organisations recognise individual contribution, they grow leaders at every level.

People grow from connection

Coach U : Connection is the wellspring of creativity.

Corporate Coach U : Collaboration is a conduit for enhancing people’s strengths and generating innovative solutions.

People seek value

Coach U : Listening provides an ever-present access to value.

Corporate Coach U : Listening beyond words is the currency of valuing human capital.

People act in their own interest
